In July 2009, Reflect took part in a charity event raising money for FSID,  along with ReSound Community Choir. The evening was an eclectic mix of sixties, seventies and eighties fancy dress, a charity auction, raffle, disco and buffet, and of course the music. Reflect performed several ABBA numbers, setting the scene for the evening, and ReSound joined them on stage for a mix of gospel, folk and close harmony songs, from The Jacksons to The Mamas and Papas.

The venue for the event was The Stanley Club in Burscough, Lancashire, a traditional northern working mens club still used by the whole community. The stage provided a few challenges technically in terms of the sound production, but the music was enjoyed by all there.

The event raised around two and a half thousand pounds for FSID, to the delight of the organisers and of course the charity!
